And it has a lot as of late.
A few months ago I deleted all of my old blogs from here in preparation for my next gooberment background check. When my plan was to be a Federal Officer and carry a gun. I had passed all the tests, was brilliant on my video based interview, jumped through every hoop known to man with flying colors. Until the eye exam.
I failed that. Somehow the fact I need glasses makes me unable to shoot. Never stopped me in the military, never stopped me since then either. But it is what it is.
In any case I delete all my postings to prepare for that and then ended up not needing to. And then as my life always seems to....chaos ensued. The normal kind for out here at Castle A. But it has been a journey the last six months or so. Enough living and life to give even a well seasoned veteran of heartache pause.
Yesterday was another one of those days. And today has been one of reflection. I love my life, my family and friends, the small joys and triumphs, even the tribulations.
Summer(according to Seattle) should start this week. I think that is a good time to bring my blog back to the table too.
